Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Well of course the internet is not working if the laptop is locked. In fact, if the laptop is locked nothing is working, right? So, why is the laptop locked? When you turn it on, what is it doing and what is it asking you to do? And what is this Internet Security you mention?? The only Internet Security I know of is a Virus or Infection that calls itself Internet Security. Don't get me wrong, Internet Security is vital, but it is process and not a product per say. There are things that end with Internet Security such as Norton Internet Security, McAfee Internet Security, Kapersky Internet Security, etc. The only product that calls itself "Internet Security" is a virus known as the Internet Security virus. Is that what is popping up on your screen and blocking you from doing anything?

RAM is a place put data before processing by processur. So, it is impossible for computer to run without RAM.

That indicates your wifi is on but not active, pull out your owners manual to make sure you did not overlook something, right click on the wifi icon, what do you see? The WEP key is assigned by your internet provider so long as you clicked on the right one you should be connected. If you still have problems contact your provider and have them give step by step instructions.

You can switch to anexternal monitor by two methods.1. Connect the externalmonitor to the laptop's video port, power up the external monitor first and thelaptop. The video information will automatically switch to the externalmonitor.2. If you power up thelaptop first then you can switch the video output to the external monitor bypressing the Fn key and one of the Function keys, depending upon your make andmodel laptop. Here's a link to troubleshoot the startup of your notebook, from the HP online support site, and another link that explains how to reseat the ram, which is worth a try. Has it exhibited any unusual symptoms, blue screens, etc. recently? It sounds like either some kind of hardware conflict, or a bad power supply.
Unfortunately, the nc6120 has its internal power supply on the system board and can't be changed separately. The part #s and removal/replacement instructions are in the service manual, link here. This is a somewhat widespread issue, and if you're still covered by warranty, I recommend you get it in for service. Otherwise, you or a reliable tech could start selectively unplugging hardware and see if that is indeed the problem. See links to similar posts here.

If you are using an external usb mouse, then there must be a loose wire connection. Try to replace our mouse and see if it's working properly now. Have a nice day friend.

u need to download and install its device driver to used it. go to my computer right click and choose properties, then go to hardware and select device manager and you will all uninstall driver with ? mark. means u need to install it.... go to www.hp.com - support - driver put your loptop model and download all appropriate driver in there and install it... just click the exe, its automatic

Depending upon the brand most 6 in 1 USB card readers do not have a push button release button.
Just pull put the memory card from the card reader.

RAM sticks to be refixed. Then it will work fine

call HP support and they should be able to help you.
