Why does it freeze and whine when I'm trying to play music CDs or streaming video?
Not exactly sure what could be the cause but something that fixes small glitches for laptops sometimes is a hard reboot. You can do this by turning PC off, unplugging it, then remove the battery. Next hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Once done release the power button, put the battery back in, plug it back in, boot it back up and see if you can play the CD's or video. Hope this helps!
