I forgot the security password

here are 2 password type first 1 is bios password if tell me about your bios password it prompt when u powerup follow procedure below

For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.
pull cmos cell on motherbord for 15 minute then it reset to defaults.
Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
then again set it in 1-2 its original position.
Then it not want password.

And if u tell about windows password
Then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode then wait until it prompt for user password

then enter in administrator then if u able to enter then reset your password.
But if u set and forgot default administrator password then u should need winxp recovery disk.

I've installed windows 8 os in my acer aspire 5580 laptop, but inbuilt webcam not working

Click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there if you are have trouble with your webcam Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp Click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver in W7 http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for IE: webcam name webcam driver you might have to try a few times to get it right software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html Windows XP/Vista/7/8 It might take some time being a freeware driver solution note: it will find all of your outdated drivers this is a free driver solutions This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right. But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date. But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing. Try downloading the latest DirectX version and install it (Windows XP: DirectX 9.0c - Windows Vista: DirectX 10). http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Which-version-of-DirectX-is-on-your-computer Hope this helps.

Wiring diagram battery pack aspire 5580

Are you asking for the wiring diagram inside the main Battery? If so, due to very possible injury, or death to you, there will be No solution. Now, if you are talking about what is the polarity for the plug of the AC adapter, (Charger), that plugs into the DC Power Jack on the laptop, (DC _IN), then I'm on board. The Center Hole in the plug end is the Positive ( + ) connection. This is where the Positive (Red) probe lead of the multimeter goes. The cylindrical outside metal shell is the Negative connection. The Negative (Black) probe lead of the multimeter touches here.Voltage is 19 Volts DC.Wiring diagram for the inside of the AC adapter itself? No gottom. My acer laptop aspire 5580 creen monitor goes black, how can i put it back?

Unplug the power, remove the battery and then hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. Then reattach the power and attempt a boot. It worked for me! Just shutdown, put the battery back in you're good to go. Worked for me so definitely worth a try.

Troubleshoot acer 5580 laptop when program and

Some reason of hanging the laptop during opening a program is the low speed of the memory modules. But the main reason of this is the virus containing the files or programs. The best way to clear this is to reformat your laptop. You need to have an Windows CD and the installation CD of your laptop motherboard.

Webcam aspire 5580 cannot use

There are no Windows 7 drivers for this laptop according to the Acer website. That being said, there's also the chance that it could be 3 different camera's, so choosing the correct driver might be difficult without the specifications for your exact notebook. Have you contacted Acer support at all?

Acer aspire 5580 upgraded with

From looking at the Acer support site it looks as if they haven't sorted out the driver files for Window 7 yet for the Bison, Logitech and Suyin webcams. I've had mixed success in the past by downloading and installing the older drivers for Vista but it's pretty hit and miss. Hopefully the afore mentioned manufacturer's are working on providing updated drivers for Windows 7 very soon.

Rello i have a acer

There are some possible options, look close to the lcd screen with a light;
1. If you see something on the screen, but it's very dim, then you will have to replace the CCFL/Inverter of your laptop. The backlight screen would be gone bad, and you will have to replace first the inverter board-a circuit which controls the backlight-. If this doesnt help, then your problem would be related to the inverter cable or the CCFL tube.
2. If you cannot see nothing on screen, then the problem would be related to the LVDS video output. It could happen that the video output inside the laptop don't work property, but external video does work good. This is the worst situation, because you will have to replace the motherboard.

How do I transfer pictures FROM the computer to a

If you want to copy pictures back to an SD card then you need to put the card in a device such as your camera or phone it came out of and hook that device up via USB to your computer which will show up in My Computer as a drive letter. There will be a specific folder where pictures on the device are typically stored. Copy them there. May be called "DCIM"

Or if you have access to a media card reader that connects externally to your computer via usb

Example:

I lost my acer aspire

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Please find the below steps to access Camera Assistant Software:

Assistant Software. The Camera Assistant Toolbar location briefly displays on the desktop.

NOTE: If you are not hearing the audio portion of the video you created, try the following: Verify that you do not have the audio capture muted. An X appears on the Mute button
