Do you have the correct log in details?
To see if your ethernet connector is functioning, connect from one of the 4 ports behind your router directly to PC ethernet, this way you don't need log in details. If this works, then you need log im details to connect directly.

My computer is down because of malware and i cannot use it. Please help

Listen, Jennie, the best route for you is to simply reinstall the software that came with your Dell or use the backup disks that you were advised to make. Assuming you made them, all you have to do is go into your bios and make sure that your optical drive (cd or dvd) drive is set as the first boot up device. Then pop in the disk and follow the prompts. If you did not make the disks or have any Dell disks you may be able to get the software from Dell directly. OR check among your peers to see who has an XP OS install disk. Use that to install the operating system and then download the necessary drivers from Dell site. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/inspiron-1501/drivers Whatever you do, resist the impulse to install an OS other than XP - the latter will work best with your machine. NEWER is not better! Good luck.

I have a dell involve laptop while i was trying to set back to factory specks i got locked out and it wont let me access any thing with out my administrator password and i don't no it what can i do to

No laptop is trashed when a password is lost. It just takes a little time to find out how to get into the system. I'll assume it is running XP Home that was originally installed on it from the specs I saw when researching. I'll also assume the password is not the one necessary to get into the BIOS CMOS setup- that one can normally be cleared by removing the CMOS battery and letting it set for a few hours or longer so the information is lost. The OS password can be cleared by making a bootable disk for that purpose. I have a Unix CD program that I made from information I downloaded from the Internet. You can do the same if you have access to a CD burner on another computer, say a friend's or one at work. I can get you the program's name if that's the route you want to take.

How do I download pictures from my LG 800 G to my dell Inspiron laptop?

Hi, You may want to connect the data cable/ transfer cable provided along with the LG 800 g cellphone to the Dell Inspiron laptop. Then simply use a copy- paste method from the phone to the laptop. This should help but if this doesn't help then let me know what happens. Thanks and Regards. Kiran Kumar. #iworkfordell.
