ACTIVATING THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE
1)make sure the unit is in standby mode (plugged in and all indicator's off)
2)press the following button sequence: More Time-Less Time, More Time-LessTime all within 5 seconds.
3)All indicators on the control are illuminated with 88 showing in the "estimated time remaining" (2 digit) display, if this test is entered correctly.
Pressing start should start the unit, if not it is likely a door switch. Let me know. I can send you a complete diagnostic guide via email if you provide one in your next post.
There should also be a tech sheet with this info in the cabinet if you remove the service panel at the bottom via the screws there and the panel will pull off.

This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet however, your whirlpool duet needs a reset to resolve the control lock
problem. Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to
