sounds like corrupt software in the phone, easiest sollution is to download the sony ericsson update service from sony ericsson website and follow instructions, if this fails google a programme called xs++

well if its not the battery then it must be the frimware...you can try using SEUS (SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE) to repair the phone....give it a download...follow the instruction given with it carefully...but first back up all your data....it might help you..feel free to share the proceedings..

*#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain faster though. (type this on the main screen)

camera has a problem it is most probaly hardware. you should open set, check out for water damage, do some cleaning then pack it again. all should be ok.

Either battery is gone bad, just happens, or Charging Circuit INSIDE phone, is faulty. You say charger is OK, how do you know for sure? have you checked with a Volt meter.? try a replacement battery.

First remove the battery, then out it back in, if still it will not work try a "Master Reset". If that doesn't work, try updating the firmware through the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS). And if that doesn't work, try flashing the phone's firmware. If the problems still persist, more than likely it is a hardware problem. If you still have warranty with the manufacturer, I'd suggest you contact SE service center, and see if they can repair (or replace) it.

In some instances try this:
by pressing the number 3 on the keypad and the turn on button it switched on. It works to some users!

here is the solution
first run pc se update service of pc suite to make sure ur cell is detectable by pc
1) download xs++ (freeware software)
2) open xs++
3) switch off ur cellphone
4) remove the battery
5) reinsert the battery (dont power on)
6) in xs++ press connect
7) then hold c button
8) then connect ur set using data cable within 30 second
9) when connected it will show that "phone lock code is ----"
