Red triangle will not stop flashing even after I descale

Hi, I have the Illy coffee maschine x7.1 and I'm trying to do the descaling (since the litle triangle sign is flashing), but power button doesn't start flashing after I push the coffee and steam button together (as indicated in the manual). Any suggestions what I should do, that the on/off button would start flashing?

On/off button doesn't start flashing for descaling on Illy Coffee Machine X7.1

You will know the machine wants to be descaled when the red alert triangle is blinking (lower right part of control pad) 1) Machine must be OFF and cool in order to descale the machine! 2) Fill the water container to MAX with very warm faucet water. 3) Add a packet of Illy / Urnex Dezcal or similar citric acid based descaler to the water, stirring it in until dissolved. 4) Replace the water container into your Illy Francis Francis X7.1 Iperespresso machine. 5) Place a 1L (minimum) plastic catch bowl (or other suitable container) under the brew head AND frothing wand, which should be pointed toward the center of the stage under the brew head (as in video above). 6) Power the machine ON. 7) IMMEDIATELY depress and hold only the BREW (coffee cup symbol) until the machine emits THREE SHORT BEEPS, followed by ONE LONG BEEP. Release the BREW button after the long beep. 8) Press the BREW button again, as you would when brewing a cup of espresso. 9) The machine will begin to PULSE, and the STEAM BUTTON will blink. The machine will alternate between pulsing water through the brew head opening and the frothing wand. This will continue until the water container is EMPTY. Be ready to remove the water container, and IMMEDIATELY refill it with cool (Brita filtered or distilled is best) water, and replace it as quickly as possible. The machine WILL NOT STOP THE DESCALING CYCLE, so replace the water container as quickly as you can. You will probably need to empty the catch bowl at least once or twice during this procedure, and the water will be VERY HOT, so use caution! 10) The machine will continue to pulse between the brew head opening and the frothing wand. 11) The machine will stop pulsing at some point during this second tankful, and the BREW button will begin to BLINK, with an alternating BEEP between blinking. If there is very little water left in the water container, fill it up with cool water again. Empty your catch bowl if it is full and you haven't already done so! Once everything is back in place, press the blinking / beeping BREW button, which will begin to rinse the machine through. 12) The machine may repeat Step 11 more than once! 13) The machine should now come out of DESCALING CYCLE on its own, with the red POWER button illuminated, along with the blue BREW button being on and solid. 14) Run one or two BREW cycles, with cool, filtered water. 15) Run the STEAM cycle for a few moments, as you would when frothing for a beverage, to ensure no descaler remains in the frothing wand. • Your Illy Francis Francis X7.1 Iperespresso machine is now descaled! see less

My Illy Francis Francis X9 is leaking

The issue you are experiencing with your Illy Francis Francis X9 may be due to a malfunctioning seal or gasket. The coffee pod holder and brew head are sealed together with a rubber gasket, which creates a tight seal to prevent leaks. If the gasket is damaged or worn, it may not create a proper seal, causing water to leak out of the machine. I believe to troubleshoot this issue, you can try removing the coffee pod holder and inspecting the gasket for any damage or wear. If you find any issues with the gasket, you can replace it with a new one to ensure a proper seal. You can purchase replacement gaskets from Illy or from a third-party supplier. Another possible cause of the issue could be a clogged or dirty brew head. Over time, the brew head can become clogged with coffee grounds or other debris, which can cause water to leak around the edges. To clean the brew head, you can remove it from the machine and soak it in a solution of hot water and white vinegar to remove any buildup or debris. It's also possible that the issue is related to the machine's pump or water flow system. If the pump is not working properly, it may not be able to generate enough pressure to push water through the coffee pod. In this case, you may need to have the machine serviced by a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

I have a Francis Francis x7.1 machine which has a slight issue which i cant figure out so im seeking help. The machine makes a noise like a road drill but seems to dispense a normal cup of hot water without the capsule. With capsule, the stream of coffee comes out in dribbles or drips and only fill about half a normal shot of espresso. I have another machine with the same model so i took it out to test because i havent used both in a long time, i thought it was needing maintenance. This one works perfectly fine until yesterday. Today, it had the same darn issue n i just cant figure out what caused it or how to fix it. Ive run a full discaling cycle with the official descaler. My machine has always been taking still, filtered water but I just did a cycle just in case. I have taken off the brew head and plastic parts inside it, reassembled the whole thing and it did absolutely nothing. I have contacted illy and they said they can run a diagnostic and repair it, but at the cost of a brand new machine so its more economical to buy a new one... i have 2 machines with the same problem and i hate to throw them away just because of a minor problem. Getting them fixed at illy repair centre costs the same as buying new ones so why do i bother? I did a search around and other repair shops are offering the same repair fee so i am hoping someone may be able to help me or share if they have had the same problem before. Thanks

I have a illy x7.1 and wil not come in the descaling mode

There is another process to get into descale mode on some 7.1 machines. I got this from Illy Support:
Descale Cycle
• Turn off machine
• So the usual filling if container with descale fluid
• Turn machine on and within 15 seconds from power on – press and hold in the big cup
button until it gives 4 acoustic signals and then release your finger.
• The big blue cup button should now be flashing
• Press the big blue cup button once – the machine will now dispense water intermittently
from the coffee group head and the steam arm and the steam and coffee button will be
flashing alternately
• Once the descaling cycle has completed it will give out a long acoustic signal
• The coffee button will continue to flash
Rinsing Cycle
• Remove the water tank – wash out and fill with clean fresh water just over the MAX level
• Empty the container holding 1 litre of water and reinstate back under coffee group head and
point steam arm in container.
• Press the flashing big cup button once
• Water will again dispense intermittently from group head and steam arm
• An acoustic signal will sound out as soon as the rinsing cycle is complete.
• The Big Blue coffee button will be steadily lit
• Remove 1 litre container.
• Remove water tank – clean and refill with clean water

–red light should now be off and ready to make coffee

Schaerer SCP is not rinsing correctly

Check the Operating Temperature: Ensure that the machine has reached the correct operating temperature. If it hasn't, the indicator light will be on. Wait until the machine is fully heated before proceeding. Check for Ongoing Programs: If a rinse or cleaning program is currently in progress, the cleaning button may be flashing. Wait for any ongoing programs to complete before trying to brew coffee. Inspect the Brewing Unit: Make sure the brewing unit is properly seated and not obstructed. The brew group should be in the correct position. If the brew group overflows, it could be due to a blockage or misalignment. Remove the brew group, clean it thoroughly, and reinsert it properly. Inspect the Coffee Spout and Drainage Area: Check the coffee spout for any clogs or blockages. Clean it if necessary. Examine the drainage area at the bottom of the machine. If water is running away onto the floor, there may be a leak. Inspect the drip tray and other components for leaks or damage. Refer to the Operating Manual: Consult the operating instructions manual for your Schaerer Coffee Club machine. If the above do not resolve your issues, you may have to contact Schaerer Services.

Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine. The cold water is working, but nothing coming out of the hot side. No sound, no water, but the cold works fine.

They make a thousand models. It sounds like the heating element has failed. Generic help and videos in the link but these machines need dealer service at regular intervals depending on the complexity of the particular model. https://www.google.com/search?q=Dolce+Gusto+coffee+Machine+no+hot+water ..
