The water valve under the unit could be stuck, one test you could perform is to unplug the dishwasher to see if the valve is the problem. when you remove electricity from the unit it should close he valve. if it remain open, its jammed and would need to be replaced. F3 indicates a Heating System Defect.
Heater or relay on control board defect.
Also check cabling.

These machines are notorious for bad connections.

The control board can also suffer from corrupt software. The eprom can be reprogrammed with the right equipment.

Try not and over fill the machine when placing dishes inside. Have enough room for plates and such. Can be the entire motor is failing, or your maybe over filling the trays.

this is a fault code. it will flash so many times and then pause.
let me no how many flashes before the pause and i will tell you what fault code it is

Either of these two things can cause this problem: first is the timer motor, if the sound is coming from the control then the timer needs replacement. If the humming comes from the bottom of the unit then it is the motor that needs replacement. When the motor won't work you usually hear humming sound and replacing the motor is recommended repair. You have an interlock problem,there is a switch that isnt being made ,probably the door switch since it gets the most work

Seems to be relatively common. Ma doing one now with that exact problem. If you hold button in for about 10 seconds, it should reset.(switch off then on again to push start.). If same action continues, the electronic module needs to be replaced.

Remove the filter on the floor of the machine, including the metal grill. Press & hold the start button (like you do when you want to cancel a programme). this will drain the water out of your clogged up drain outlet. Clean your filter and grill and replace it. My guess is that the sensor in the drain (a little glass tube) measures whether the water going out is clean enough to decide that your dishes are now rinsed correctly. If your filter's clogged, the water going down the drain is still dirty. After a while it gets sick of trying and stops the machine. F7 in whirlpoolese may mean "Clean my filter

This problem can be fixed by pressing heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal keys within 6 seconds. There should be a technical sheet attached to the toe panel at the bottom front of the machine.
