set the air gap to .010

could be timing or gas is vapor locking.

seat switch is possibly bad

call a simplicity dealer with the model number

replace the worn out parts.

Can you turn the shaft pulley by hand with the engine not running? If so your key is still there but broken off. Check all belts and see if they are ok or maybe has come off the pulley. Check belt tightness as well. Belt also could be worn out so it slips.

Check to see if the belt fell off one of the pullys. Also check to see if you have fluid in the tranny. Lastly....check the linkage and spring too.
