Where to find the password
http://arris.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SBG6782-Admin-Login-Setup
if you have not changed the default password and user name !
it is listed on the web page on the above link
Go to wireless tab at top of screen and look up WPA Key or WEP key and make a note of what it is on 2.4 GHz frequencies as I think this will be dual band with 5 GHz as well but Ipad will run on 2.4 GHz only as it will be 802.11n as opposed to 802.11AC
Note if you changed the user name password or user name you will have to reset the router back to factory defaults but be aware everything defaults so ISP cable settings reset (would need ISP to tell you what they are and help set them back up)
(wireless settings change so you need ethernet cable directly into router to set up wireless)
Hopefully your still set up on the router on the default user name and password !
Reset admin password
Normally it should be on the back or so.
Otherwise you have to find your manual and look for thr place.
Router doesn't connect netflix
Are you able to connect to the internet at all? Either Netflix website is down or your location is blocked from accessing Netflix. Do you have any firewall set up?
Pairing Router to Extender.
Hi,
Please double check that each of your products are compatible with each other by either calling Arris or Netgear. You also review the netgear setup instructions after you've made the call if they're compatible.
This is the phone number for Arris: 1-877-466-8646
Thank you.
I have an arris router with suddenlink. i can login but i can't change my ssid because everything's greyed out. how do i fix that?
This can be done -- I've done it to my Arris modem router interface from Suddenlink.Make sure you have your original modem/router login info (typically this is something like admin/admin, or admin/password). You'll need this info in case there is an error and you need to reset your device. If you do this simple step-by-step carefully you won't need to reset and you'll be able to use the password or SSID you prefer with your device. To do this, the page with the grayed out field(s) must have an Apply, Submit, or other button that saves changes on the page.DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY.IF YOU EDIT THE WRONG GRAYED OUT FIELD YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE YOUR MODEM/ROUTER.Only do this for Names, SSIDs, Passwords, etc. Do *NOT* do this for other values--things are grayed out for a reason.1. Use Chrome or Firefox.2. Log into your modem/router.3. Right click on the grayed out field (which you want to edit) and select "Inspect" from the small context menu that appears by your mouse cursor.4. A complex looking set of window panes will open.5. The code for the grayed out field you selected will be highlighted in one of those windows panes.6. In that code look for something like:disabled(or)disabled="disabled"7. Click on that little bit of code text.8. Delete only that text:disabled (or)disabled="disabled"9. As soon as you click out of the editor and back onto the page you'll see the gray is gone and you can change the text in the field which is now editable.10. Replace the SSID, password, key phrase, or other information you're trying to change with the information you want there.BE CAREFUL ABOUT SPECIAL CHARACTERS OR SPACES.THEY MAY NOT WORK.11. After you've changed the text to be what you want, tap the Apply or Submit button on that page.12. The page should refresh now and record the new information in the field(s).If everything goes south (perhaps because you used a space or character which wasn't allowed), it's okay. All modem/routers have a reset button.
Registration code to activate a telus arris box
my guess is you forgot your ISP owns it
no country stated, no ISP stated nor your purpose here.
no model told, ARRIS. box.
plug it in

speak
done. (only they do that, not you, you must ask them)
I own my own modem but must call them to even replace my box.
they configure it and is locked to ONE SERIAL NUMBER
JUST LIKE CELL PHONES ARE.
We have an ARRIS CM8200 router and Huawei modem,we have disconnected both items, can we password or code protect to block addicted game playing son access even if he does factory reset?
so why not ask this more clearly????what game not told. PC only topic, there are 2 types of games(besides console games) local on the PC and online games.there is only one way to block local games and that is take away the DVD gaming DISK (DVD) and then erase the game on the PC< (programs & features)Online games (like steam.com and vast others.:Some ISP can be setup to block specific web sites.ask your ISP this,(Internet Service provider)call em'?and this type of app.https://ht-vector.com/how-to-block-games.htmlor just on this 1 PC parental controlshttps://helpdeskgeek.com/free-tools-review/block-websites-for-free-with-parental-control-software/OR a better router , CAN BE bought that has this feature.you can add a list of blocked game web sites.or use DNS shield.https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/block-websites-from-your-router-or-using-dns/the problem is there are so many gaming websites.best is to jail the PC, until school work is donelock it up. (none told , is it big? or laptop)there there are , kid games using TV or CELLthe paths here today are larger.a custom DNS service is the best IMO as it protect the whole home from this.'the best is DNS, IMO.and for sure see the kids, browser history, to learn where they go. And now the list is bigger
