Hisense why my on\off switch or remote won't turn TV on ?

If all other buttons works, except the ON/Off button, the remote is faulty. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

Hhisense lcd tv has lost its volume

Hisense is a relatively new Chinese TV brand, and the first couple I owed all had audio problems. A sharp chirp was emitted every time a switched from an HD channel to normal resolution. 1. Try different sources to see if audio comes through on those devices. If so, it could very well be something simple like a muted device. 2. If you pipe everything through a receiver, check the volume options there first before you start throwing things out the window. If you own a small gnawing animal, check speaker cables to see if they still go places. 3. If all 3rd party device possibilities have been ruled out, open up the menu and explore the audio options for the TV itself. 4. If all else fails and you're ready to turn this thing into a pile of glass, try a factory reset. You can find this option by going to Menu > System > Factory Reset.

When my tv is playing regular cable the volume doesnt work but when i play a dvd in the dvd player volume comes out of the tv, whats wrong?

Good--sound when playing a DVD means either a setting is wrong and it can be in the set or a box if connected---it also means the audio output circuit is good.Worst case is where sound is developed by the set's tuner there may be a problem but check all audio settings first---

My hisensen keeps changing input on its own

If the set has a manual input button on the side/front it likely is bad:Keyboard issues and answers:A problem that is more common than most people think is anissue with buttons on the controlkeyboards of modern TV sets.Recently for whatever reason I have seen more questionsabout this so I have composed this answer and solution for these kinds ofproblems. It can be any button on the set-channel up/down or volume updown-you name it.The symptoms are the same: channel will scan up or down andwill not stop-remote control has no effect on this---It can be channel, volume,or even input or menu if the set has those up front or on the side of the set.All these push controls have something in common-beneatheach is a tiny momentary push switch-when pushed with the plastic button itperforms a specific task (vol up or down etc.).What happens is the afflicted switch beneath the plasticbutton is bad-when released it is supposed to stop its function but does not.Keyboard or button controlled features have PRIORITY over the remote control, hence the remote will not stop this fromhappening. Both the remote and thekeyboard go to the microprocessor in the set but keyboard is first in line. How to resolve this issue?Someone needs to get at the tiny pc board with the buttonsand locate the one associated with the issue (ie sound or channel etc) andunsolder that switch from the board-usually just two pins (may be more formounting only purposes) and then see if set does not have the issue with switchout of the circuit. For the TECH minded with the board out test here theswitches with a ohm meter set to high resistance-any reading with button notpressed means a bad switch-seen ones that read 5,000 plus ohms-it may benecessary to unsolder more than one switch to locate the offender here but an open reading with switch not pressed is therule.I have taken the time to compose this answer as some do notunderstand what is happening in these types of situations---No magic wand orsmoke and mirrors here-have to disable the offending switch to know. The beauty (in my view) of this kind of problem is if found, you really do not have to replace anypart-just operate the set with the remote with one button that no longerfunctions on the set itself-who could ask for more?
