My first question is, who worked on it before? you are discribing a moisture restriction. replace the drier again making sure you get ont that us sealed. Make sure you r hoses and msnifold dont leak by. Use a testo set or other trusted way to monitor your vacuum. Before you start vacuum, change oil in pump. I did not believe yhat nnade much ofca difference, til I tested it myself. And it does nnake a great big difference. Use only a trusted vacuum pump. Listen to the vacuum and shut off the manifold if you hear a different sound or yhe sound changes when the system us ooen vs the manifold closed keep pulling. When you hear no differance and your pump is in great shape its dry. Leave it on over night if you have to. Put a heat lamp on the inside to raise temp and make any water easier for the vacuum pump to pull out. maybe before you do this make sure ghe w bole system is tight pressure up to 200 lbs with dry nitrogen and let it set for 2 hours or more.

Need to know the design

The McCall web site has nothing easily found on the 7-7045FT unit.
In answer to you questions, first, what is the expansion device. TXV, Cap Tube, or something else?
Low site pressure will be dictated by the super heat. The high side, in many cases, is usually ambient plus 30, then convert to psi.

Let me know if you need more info. And please double check the model number/ serial numbers.

good luck

If the freezer was working fine before sitting for a while then you should replace the starting capacitor first.

If not work then other possible faults is leak of refrigerant. Loss of the refrigerant charge will also cause the compressor to overheat. It is the cool return gas coming back to the compressor that helps to keep it from overheating. There are also many other things that can go wrong with your fridge and I have not come close to exhausting the possibilities here. I have just touched on the most common problems in a very basic way. There are some basic trouble shooting things that can be done very easily. Most problems are above out of the range of comfort for many homeowners and professional help should be consulted before any attempt is made at repairs. Remember also, that the release of refrigerant gases into the atmosphere is a federal offense in the US. Proper care must always be taken to minimize the release of any gases. A license is also required to handle refrigerants. Make sure that the professional you call has the proper certifications to handle refrigerants properly

Hi. I don't have the 404 number but I do have the R-134 and the R-500 numbers.

R-134 at 75 Deg = 93.3.1 psi

R-134 is a HFC

R-500 at 75 Deg = 108.1 (Actually R-409B)

R-500 is a CFC

R-123 at 75 Deg = -12.7 (Minus)

R-123 is a HCFC

Not sure if this helps but should put you in the ball park.

Kelly

I know you said 22 Oz of 404. I add cooalnt until I get the high side numbers keeping in mind the system capacity....

Compressor failed replaced the entire

I have reviewed your problem and it seems to me, that your head pressure is a little to high as well as your suction side pressure being too low.
It may be that your system has not settled down and or may be overcharged or could be due to a restriction in the cap tube.
I'm sure that you pulled a long vacuum on the unit and dryers has been replaced.
If the unit has had a burnout, did you flush the system or just vacuum..
Hope this information has been of some help.
Please rate....
P.S. you know, it could just be that the oil has not completely settled, but should with system running for a few hours.

I have a McCall 4-4070FC i need to find out how to turn on the Lights and Door Heaters?

Your light switch is white generally around frame... As for door heater it will be on as soon as you plug unit it. You can feel around door jam to see if heating... Should be warm not scalding hot. McCall was sold to manitowoc and some parts are no longer available. If you're able to do repair yourself try case parts.

Norfrost C6AEW Chest Freezer. Wiring help please.

Question edited for clarity and add CAPS. It seems to be a common occurrence on that model due to bad design. https://www.fixya.com/support/t17110008-norfrost_c6aew_chest_freezer_compressor Norfrost is owned by Ebac. Contact their customer service. https://www.johnogroat-journal.co.uk/news/caithness-freezer-name-lives-on-in-england-170710/ https://www.ebac.com/support/customer-service Another way would be to study the wiring as it is pretty standard. The video may help. https://www.google.com/search?q=freezer+wiring+diagram You may be able to freeze this video to note the wiring, although this only shows the thermostat wiring and is a bit fuzzy. Also an refrigeration appliance technician would know the wiring by heart and take 20 minutes maximum to work it out.
