Whirlpool GHW9250M Front Load Washer Questions & Answers
My Whirpool duet HT washer sometimes will not
There may be a senor that detects when the door isn't closed. It may be failing or mounted in a bracket coming loose. I had one that the bracket broke and sometimes it would start and other times it wouldn't. I rigged a new bracket and it works fine. You could also disable the sensor by shorting it, but you might have water leak out some day.
You will need to open the case to access the sensor.

Whirlpool cabrio wont fill
Inside the machine at the back are two water inlets that operate using a selennoid.
I would go to partselect.com and find your water inlet selennoids and replace them.
Before replacing them... use an Ohm meter and check to see if the windings are are open (Shorted)
If no meter is around, use a battery (1.5) and a LED and if the LED lights then you Don't need to replace. check both
The other problem would be a diaphram up in the controller about 4" disc with a small hose. This guy resets those selennoids.
Remove hose and blow into it. While blowing.. about 3" down pinch the hose and put in on the Diaphram. this usually resets the machine

Washer fills with hot water on cold wash or rinse.
typically hot is on the left and cold is on the right at the house faucets but in some cases they are reversed so if filling with a cold setting and the right side supply is hot the plumber reversed the lines when the house was built which while its semi rare has been seen numberous times

Hi
it is no power , the control panel is not
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.
I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong. Sorry ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Whirlpool Duet GHW925OMW2
Hi,
The problems you're having stem from the CCU circuit board (inside machine, top, back, plastic case) there are bad solder joints (also called cold solder joints) on the circuit board where the spade connectors and relays (5 of them) are supposed to be securly soldered to the circuit board. The loose joints control the communications between the door lock (code FdL) the Motor control section (code F11) and the main circuit board. The cure is to remove the top of the washer then remove the CCU plastic case with the circuit board, it's easier that way, then remove the board and touch-up those solder points I mentioned. They're easy to spot, they are the biggest solder joints on the board. Remember to mark all the connectors, they are keyed but you should mark them anyway. If you're not up on soldering techniques, just remove the case with board and take it, along with this response, to a good appliance repair shop and they should be able to help you out. Good luck.

It appears your clutch assembly has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

It sounds like you're probably looking in the right place...it's possible that the inlet water valve is stuck open or simply defective. Turn off the water, turn off the power, remove the hoses and check the inlet valve. The valve could be stuck, have something in it. You may need to remove the inlet valve(s).
