This is a super freeze button, it is for when you get a lot of frozen food and put it in you can push the super freeze button and it bypasses the thermostat and runs the freezer constant to freeze the food quicker.

I hate the hassle too, but take or send it back to where you got it. It simply shouldn't fail that quickly!

I have a whirlpool WVG301 freezer and have just had a similar problem with my freezer not freezing and all my food spoiling. Open the plastic cover at the top front above the door. In side is a timer which controls the automatic defrost mechanism. On top of this timer is an adjuster. This timer seemed to get jammed. Give it a slight turn with a screw driver and your compressor might just kick in and work again like mine did!!! Hope this helps?

Seal needs to be replaced around door. Make sure magnetic strip is tight against sides of refrigerator, even if you have to cut the outside so it lays flat against the sides.

please switch off your refrigerator for at least 8 hrs. than again switch it on. if your problem is not cured than it is sure that your refrigerator have the blower problem because for this reason only, the problem arrises ....... please visit your service authority...........have a nice day:-)
