All our phones ring when an outside calls comes in. How do I disable ringing at certain phones when this happens? (Only for outside calls not internal)
We have the Lucent Partner Mail VS System.
Thank you.

Partner, all releases.
Examples
Receptionist Call Routing. If you want calls to be answered
by the receptionist first, set the lines at the receptionist's
extension to Immediate Ring and the lines at the users' extensions to
No Ring. (This is the factory setting)
Receptionist Backup. If you want all calls on a line to ring
directly at users' extensions -with the receptionist providing backup
-set the line at the users' extensions to Immediate Ring. Then set the
line (or lines) at the receptionist's extension to Delayed Ring. An
incoming call that is not answered by a user within 20 seconds will
also ring at the receptionist's extension.

We have a Partner 18 system and I need to change the default greeting on it when people call in...the one where I'd say "press 12 for Bob or 13 for Sue". Can any one give tips on how to do this? Thanks!
Depending on the type of voicemail you have, you''ll have to login to the admin mailbox. That's done by pressing your voicemail key or intercom 777. If you have a Partnermail VS the admin mailbox is 99 with the default password of 1234.If you mave a Partner Messaging System the admin mailbox is 0 with a default password of 1234 or 123456. Once your into the admin mailbox press 9 for admin programming. ,3 for greetings, 1 for auto attendant number, 1 for day greeting 2 for night( if your using a night key at the receptionist station then it usus the night greeting) # to go past selector codes, 1 to start recording 3 to accept greeting hang up when done

replace system battery,with power on?
The Partner ACS system uses 2 AAA batteries to retain programming from 45 to180 days, in the event of a power outage. When these batteries fail, a system warning (replace sys bat w/ power on) will display on the screen of extensions 10 and 11.With new batteries in hand, go to the phone system cabinet and find the system processor. The system processor will be marked on the top third of the card with a label marked "Partner ACS processor".
On the bottom of the processor module, below the extension jacks, there is a battery compartment. With the power on, Push in slightly on the battery compartment and slide the black locking latch up to cover the"+" icon. Remove the battery assembly by pulling the tab at the bottom of the compartment cover.Place the batteries into the metal battery clips fully. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct by looking inside the metal battery clips for the "+" and "-" icons cut into the metal of the battery clip. With the locking latch in the unlocked (up) position slide the battery assembly back into the processor card far enough that the edges of the assembly slip behind the plastic housing of the processor card.Slide the locking latch down to secure the battery compartment. The message on your screen will disappear if the batteries are inserted correctly.
