How do you erase and change after hours

Call voicemail by pressing the Intercom button then dialing 777, when it answers login by dialing 99# followed by the password(default is 1234#) then press 9 for system features menu. Press 3 to choose Automated Attendant, the system prompts for the Auto Attendant number(1-4), start with Auto Attendant 1,if you do not know which one is being used by pressing 1. Press 2 to choose Night Menu, press 6 to change the Night Menu prompt. Lift the handset, press 1 to record your new Night Menu prompt using the handset, press 1 at the end of your recording. To listen to the new recording press 23, to immediately re-record press 21, to save the recording press *#. Press # to save all programming changes and activate new recording. Press *7 to return to system features menu or hang up to end programming session.
Changing the Auto Attendant prompt should be done when you are able to do a test call on each line to verify that you have changed the correct prompt(in your case after hours or by putting the system in After Hours mode manually to ensure the After Hours prompt is active) for each line being answered by the Auto Attendant. By default all lines are assigned to Auto Attendant 1, if your system has been modified to use a different Auto Attendant for some or all lines, you will need to repeat the above procedure for the Auto Attendant being used. If at any time you get lost or confused while in the voicemail programming, hang up and start over. Once you get comfortable with navigating the voicemail programming, it gets easier. If you have trouble send a comment, I will try to help.

I have two lines that

This could be a wiring problem or a problem with the phone. Try another phone (with new cables). Check the phone at another jack if you can. Find where your phone service comes in and check the connection type. If it is an RJ-11, plug in your phone at this connection and check for the problem on both lines (if you have true separate lines and not the distinctive ring feature). If it isn't an RJ-11, you will need your provider to check the phone line there.

If the busy signal occurs at the service connection, your phone company should fix the wiring for free (since it is on their side of the connection). If only the one phone is a problem, replace the phone. Otherwise, check all the exposed wiring and open the jacks. Check that the wires are fully seated in the jack or screws. If it isn't the jack or an obvious damaged wire, but an interior wiring problem, you need to check all of the wiring. Your telephone provider will do this for a fee. If your phone service connects to a DSL line, check the filters.

I hope this helps.

(I use an old rotary phone for phone line diagnostics. The unit isn't likely to have any problems that complicate tracking down a problem. I've had to run these diagnostics many times: mice damaged wires, contractor digging issues and surge damaged filters have all needed to be fixed in the past.)

How do you record an announcement? How do you

You may need to set the main handset to synchronize with the base unit plugged into the telephone wall jack and assign special configuration numbers to the other handsets in order to properly identify each one within a specified location. One handset left in the turned on mode may make it impossible to place calls with the any of the other handsets. This will continue until either the battery dies or fails on the handset or the phone is switched off and replaced in its charger for charging again. Synchronize the main handset by pressing the MENU button on the handset, then pressing the down button IN order to select the number you wish to assign to that handset. Repeating this process if you have already done so will greatly decrease the level of errors experienced with panasonic phones MORE USEFUL INFORMATION FOR ALL YOUR ELECTRONICS When troubleshooting these units, there are always several variables to consider. First check to see what last occurred with the unit such as did the children play video games, did the electricity go out due to bad weather. You may see that there are many possibilities but let's focus on what occurred last to the unit. Once we determine what happened last, we may isolate the actual cause of the problem. The actual cause may be associated with projection issues, older versions (Picture tube), interference from devices located nearby, and even a radio turned on and located really close to your unit. This is normally known as electromagnetic interference to electronics and is very common with the error you have provided today. Please continue to look for anything EXTERNAL to the unit before looking at the internal components. I have been working on these a long time so feel free to follow up with me.

Replace system battery,with power on?

The Partner ACS system uses 2 AAA batteries to retain programming from 45 to180 days, in the event of a power outage. When these batteries fail, a system warning (replace sys bat w/ power on) will display on the screen of extensions 10 and 11.With new batteries in hand, go to the phone system cabinet and find the system processor. The system processor will be marked on the top third of the card with a label marked "Partner ACS processor".
On the bottom of the processor module, below the extension jacks, there is a battery compartment. With the power on, Push in slightly on the battery compartment and slide the black locking latch up to cover the"+" icon. Remove the battery assembly by pulling the tab at the bottom of the compartment cover.Place the batteries into the metal battery clips fully. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct by looking inside the metal battery clips for the "+" and "-" icons cut into the metal of the battery clip. With the locking latch in the unlocked (up) position slide the battery assembly back into the processor card far enough that the edges of the assembly slip behind the plastic housing of the processor card.Slide the locking latch down to secure the battery compartment. The message on your screen will disappear if the batteries are inserted correctly.

Error message in display "ReplaceSysBat

Hello, please kindly look at the bottom of your system's processor module, there is a battery compartment that contains the memory retention batteries. Replace these as soon as possible to avoid having to reprogram the entire system.Use two AAA Duracells and make sure you do it with the power on. After you replace them confirm that the message has gone away. If not make sure you have the polarity correct and there is no corrosion on the battery holder contacts.
The holder is located under the "cable gatherer" on the front of the processor.

wishing you good luck,

take care.
