How do i remove the oven door
Here is a step by step on door glass repair:1) open the oven door and look at the hinge on each side, there should be a moveable part sort of near the middle of the exposed part of the hinge. This is the hinge lock, or stop, whichever you prefer. 2) flip the hinge locks in place. 3) with the locks on place, try to close the door slowly. you'll notice that the door will push upward.4) when it does this, you can now lift the door and remove it from the rest of the machine5) To access the glass you going to have to take all the screws pretty much, making sure you remember where and how each one goes6) now the door should come apart and you have access to the glass****Note that there are a great number of makes, models, etc. This is a general instruction, and some extra steps may be needed **** If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at

All the functions works well, but after a few
Hello,
The F2 error code means that the over overheated by at least 100 degrees above the tempature that was set at the time. The usual reason the oven would over heat by so much is a defective oven tempature sensor and the sensor would need to be tested to see if is the problem to test the sensor it would need to disconnected from the wiring to it and measure the amount of ohms of resistiance AT ROOM TEMPATURE when the oven is off and cool. At room temp. the the meter used to check the sensor should display between 1060-1100 ohms,if the number is vastly different that 1060-1100 at room tempature the sensor is defiently bad and should be replaced. This is what the sensor looks like
it will be inside of the oven chamber and again to properly check it the wiring should be unplugged and the meter leads should be placed into the plug at the end of the sensor to measure the ohms

Hi my whirpool oven is
Hello,
Usually the F-03 error code means you have a bad oven tempreture sensor. To test the tempreture sensor you would use a multimeter set to ohms. At room tempreture the sensor should read between 1000-1100 ohms any less then this and you would replace the oven tempreture sensor in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back. Please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future. Thanks
Rick
p.s I also looked afterwards in your service manual and the F-03 error code does refer to the oven tempreture sensor

Whirlpool electric range ygy398lxpq00.
sounds like the touch pad is bad from what you're discribing,i looked up your model on the sears site and it looks like the whole front panel comes all together, part number W10122300 and it's around 230.00 dollars.you can call your parts store and see if you can just get the touch pad and hopefully you can.i've seen this happen before, the start button is pushed alot of times and it can damage the touch pad by pressing it to hard or just from using it alot of times.http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Touchpad-and-Control-Panel/W10122300/1372156 copy and paste this, this is the repair clinic,if you buy a part from them and it doesn't fix your problem they will take it back no matter what part it is and i think it's free shipping.it's a good thing to know when the parts are so expensive, also here's the sears site so you can look up your machine.good luck with it.http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Whirlpool-Parts/Range-Parts/Model-YGY398LXPQ00/1198/0124160/W0703148/00002?blt=06&prst=0&shdMod=YGY398LXPQ00
