PaperPort 9 won't work on Windows 7. I tried compatibility mode and it still doesn't work. If you have a son or grandson in full time education you may be able to buy PaperPort 14 from www.software4students,co.uk for a very low price.

Bought a ScanSoft Delluxe 7
Go to ScanSoft's web site...Find references to Delluxe 7 on their site. If they have an upgraded driver, download it & try it.... best solution ... if there isn't an upgraded driver for XP, then you'll have to write your own... sorry.

It will not work with windows 7. Is there
Here is how to Install them so they work.
Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop.
You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP.
Right click the .exe file and select "Properties".
Then select the tab called "Compatibility"
Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted.
Now apply the settings and run the installer.
This should work for most drivers, but not all
This should all be done in Administrator Mode. & done to BOTH the install .exe and the programs run .exe
