Water does not seem to be getting to the heating

I'm not sure if your saying it does not brew a cup of coffee at all or it is brewing but only cold water comes out. If it is just sitting there making a whinning noise and not delivering water it may just be dirty. To clean it you need to fill the resivior with a 50% white viniger and 50% water mixture. Run a brew cycle and let it sit for an hour. Then run several cycles through until it is out, refill the resivior with water only, run it completely through and continue with the water only until there is no more viniger smell or tatse. You will need to clean the brewer needle heads as well. Lift the handle to access the coffee pod compartment, remove the pod basket and use a paper clip to clean out the hole in the puncture needle. With the lever still raised, use the paper clip to clean out the three holes in the upper needle head. Replace the pod basket, close the handle and run a couple brew cycles through without a coffee pod.

How do you de-scale the coffee maker?

I run vinegar through my coffee maker. Keep running it through until it runs properly and then run water through it a couple of times to rinse it out.

WHEN I PRESS THE BREW

Hi Tim,

This is almost certainly down to a build up of scale. The B100 should be descaled every two months, when was yours last done?

The easiest way to de-scale it is using about 48oz of white vinegar. Fill the tank and then press brew. Leave it about 4 hors then cycle the machine through. Then run fresh water through it.

Hope this helps

Does not shut off automatically

Well, whose does? Ours doesn't either but it's not a problem to turn it off after I'm done brewing my last cup.

My Keurig (one year old)

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

When you turn it on, it would initally say 'Not

Hello there,

That is actually a major hardware fault of the system. The main control board in that unit has failed or is at least failing. I have seen it before with these models. If it is indeed a Keurig B100 it is not worth repairing, the repair will cost quite a bit and a new one of these units can be had on ebay for around $40 - 60.

It is much more cost effective to just replace this unit unfortunately, I'm very sorry for the grim news.

Thanks
Tim

8. Make sure Auto-OFF is NOT set and let last cycle of vinegar remain inside machine for 4 hours.

9. Refill reservoir with fresh water and repeatedly run brewing cycle until the water is clear and odorless.

10. Set Auto-OFF, if preferred.

Another person reported cleaning some nozzle tubes in the spout, but I couldn't find that video- it's up there somewhere if you look around.
Good luck, and hope this works for you!

As soon as i switch

What exactly is tripping out? Most kitchens now have GFI recepticals. There is a small red button that pops out if the circuit detects moisture inside the electrical parts of the coffee maker. If that is tripping you may be able to simply dry out the coffee maker by turning it upside down and then blowing the switch and electronic controls with a hair dryer for a few minutes. Try the coffee maker is a receptical in the bedroom. If it doesn't trip there it is probably moisture caused by spilling a little water on the machine when you were filling it. If it trips the bedroom breaker, it is most likely a dead short in the machine. Normally it is not worth the labor and parts to repair this machine.
