LG DLG0452W Gas Dryer Questions & Answers
Dryer does not heat constantly. It starts to heat then turns off the gas. I need to dissamble it to test the parts.
Sounds like a block in the exhaust. Remove exhaust pipe and clean pipe. This is a huge fire hazard and your dryer is likely saving you from a fire. Remove large back panel on dryer. Clean all passages that handle airflow from lint screen back to exhaust. Restart. If this does not work, be happy that it is now clean :) The issue is likely your flame sensor at this point. Looks a bit like a spark plug. Short term fix. Clean probe with a dollar bill. Seriously, a dollar bill. Replace and restart. Order a new flame sensor.

air flow. you must make sure that your dryer vent hoses are free of lint. if you found a lot of lint in the bulkhead more than likely your vents are cloged
I want to clean the inside of my DLG0452W. Hasn't
i looked up your model and it looks like you haave to remove the top panel and then the front panel to get to the inside cabinet,if on the front you do have an access panel on the bottom then yes you want to remove the bottom front panel, pull out the lint filter, remove the duct that the lint filter slides into and clean that, then with a shop vac vac out the cabinet, then set the shop vac up to blow and blow all the lint from the back forwards and blow off the motor, this way you don't have to pull the belt and drum.when that's done go to the back and remove the vent line from the dryer,if it's a long run to the outside,go outside and make sure the duct is open,no cage or screen blocking it,go back inside, stick a leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out.do this once a year and your dryer will run better and last longer but mostly you won't have a fire.hope this helps.
How do I put a 90 degree elbow on the outlet pipe
you can do it either by cutting down the pipe inside the dryer, stick an elbow on the inside and run your pipe off of the elbow or cut the pipe and attach flexable vent line to the pipe and run that out of the dryer,or if you want to keep the pipe in case you change the dryer around in the future, remove the pipe from the blower wheel housing, buy another piece of hard pipe, cut it down and install it where the other pipe was, stick an elbow on it and either run hard pipe or flex line, use either hose clamps or the silver high heat tape to connect pipe, don't use duct tape it drys out and falls apart.hope this helps,it's kind of basic, just cut the pipe there or use another piece of pipe, cut it so when you put the elbow on it it will line up with the hole in the side.
Thermalfuse
It's A circuit breaker located on the out side of the burner at the 7 o'clock position. You need to remove the front panel to get to it. Unplug the dryer before doing this.

hello Jeff, I think you should examine the blower wheel for an obstruction. If anything broke loose and fell downward, it probably ended up right in the blower wheel. If you examine it and something is broken, you will have to replace it of course (i mean the blades on the blower wheel broken). If it is clean and clear, try to describe the noises that you are hearing. That might help for determining where and what it is. If you can describe a general location of the noise, that might help too. Sometimes it's hard to tell.
But considering your situation, it sounds like what I said at first is possibly the problem. I would be more than happy to help you further if you cant find it and need further assistance.
thanks,
Mike
