Hit the up or down arrow keys several times. (either key will work) and the ringer will rotate through Ringer off - Ringer low - Ringer high... one set will be a steady ring, the other set will be a warble ring. This works on the phone made for RadioShack with 5.8 GHz on the front and Cat. No. 43-155 under the battery in the battery compartment.

I have never seen the phone sold separately, the phone and base are security matched at the factory so nobody can ease drop on your calls, so even if you could find one I don't think it would work.

Go to a Gigahertz model. Too much going on the the megahertz models. Also check if any out side line is wet or damaged in weather.

Hello. Take the phones and the base to your nearby radio shack store. Tell them what you need and they will take care of it for you. They will also check out the phones, and the base charging system. Truly a wonderful service. Joe

From the handset that came with the unit (if you bought additional habdsets they may not have the following menu option -- for some reason only some of my handsets allowed me to do the following), press MENU/MUTE, press the up or down buttons to select DIAL MODE, press SEL/CH, press up or down button to select the mode (I believe it is "pulse" but may be the other option), press SEL/CH (the phone will beep), press END to exit. This worked for me.

In any phone cordless // Mobile or landline there are two things one is microphone & other is speaker. Microphone is when u speak caller party can hear u & speaker is to hear when someone from otherside speak. In ur case the speaker might be faulty get it repaire by the local technician

Generally, there is a button on these type of phone that represent and act like a mouse. Tilt it up for up and down for down.

That is usually a setting that you can change on the phone, usually the options are 1, 3, and 5. look at your manual and find out how to change the settings

just connect one end of the phone plug to the id caller,then connect the outlet of the caller id and fix it to phone...........even then if u hav problem, may be ur caller id doesn.t hav batteries..............otherwise u may hav some problem in the id caller socket where phone plugs r inserted................

no problem, you may need to contact the provider / manufacturer of the device because there is a possibility that the phones needs updating or a reflash.

you may need to RESET the handset before getting them registered to the base station. this will ask for a reset code, just consult the user manual to get it.

Hello, I had the same problem with my line I called the phone company 2 times they checked the line on their side at the base and was unable to fix it, they also sent me new filters but that did not help either, they had to physically come out to my house to find out what the problem was. They checked my phone that was new and that was not the problem, they changed the box in my house and still the static and scratchy noise was still there, after 3 days they ended up replacing all the wiring from (outside my house) becuse it was way way old, now my line is clear as a bell. This may be your problem but you may have to sacrifice a few days. Good luck I hope this helps.
