Take out the plug of charger adapter and hook a multimeter to check if your charger is working or not. Output voltage is mostly mentioned on the charger and it should tally with the reading on multimeter.

There should be a button on the base labeled greet or record(maybe rec).Press and hold down rec(greet if there is no rec) and it should prompt you to record or just beep.After it beeps record your message and let go of the button.Usually it automatically plays it back so you can hear it.Good luck!

This is quite common, it means that the scanner was on a similar wavelength as the phone.

If you buy another phone check with the store to see if the wavelengths won`t mix.

I don't know about this particular cordless phone, but one my cordless phone a beeping noise while on a call is a sign of a low battery.

Press and hold the Fast Forward >>| button until the English announcement is heard.

1.Delete all messages
2. Unplug the power and re-apply power
3. Quickly press and release << (previous message) and >> (next message) buttons together while the "Press review to receive setup instructions" message is playing.
The display will change from a segment scanning clockwise to anti-clockwise
4. Quickly press and release the On/Off button before the "Press review to receive setup instructions" ends. The display will change to a square scanning clockwise.
Note, this goes by quickly. I had to repeat steps 1-4 a couple of times before I got it right.
5. Press and release the delete button. The unit will emit a beep.
6. Press and release the on/off button. The unit will emit another beep and annouce "Press review to receive setup instructions"
Done!
