you could try takeing the battery out and puting it back in again, might work, all the best hope it works.

Could be the batteries are just kaput. Will show they are charged but have a 2 second lifespan. More than likely you have a bad circuit board behind the LCD. The LCD is the display itself. I've seen where someone did a bad job of soldering job, (cold solder joint created by flow soldering), at the factory. It may have passed quality control initially but one good hard bump and the 'cold solder' joint that was created at the company just got 'born.' It happens. Most of the time it's not a problem, but you will run across this every now and then. It looks like you 'then.' If it's still in warranty, take it back and ask for an exchange. If it's just past warranty, take it back anyway! Usually sellers understand and won't have a problem with an exchange. Understand...It's not a user fixable thing!

Caller ID will only be available if you subscribe to that service from your telephone provider. Some PBX systems do not provide compatible Caller ID information. The KX-TGA810E handset will not display any Caller ID information if the telephone company Caller ID format is not in the expected format. Unfortunately, I can't find a manual for the KX-30P available online. I did find a manual for the Panasonic KX-20P, ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/homeoffice/om/kx-20_en_om.pdf . I suspect the 3 hole punch did not change significantly between models. Panasonic also has a manual for the KX-32P (2 or 3 hole punch), ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/homeoffice/om/kx-32_en_om.pdf . Do you want to erase all messages? Are you looking at the handset, the base or are you calling the KX-TG885SK remotely? 1) At the base, press Erase during playback of a message to delete the current message. To erase all messages from the base, press Erase twice when the phone system is in standby mode (no active calls/incoming calls). 2) From a handset, use the menu to access the Answering Device sub menu and choose play new message or play all messages. (Alternatively, press Menu # 3 2 3 to play new messages or Menu # 3 2 4 to play all messages.) During playback of a message, press * 4 or pause the message. After pausing the message, highlight Erase and press Select. Confirm this. To erase all messages, choose Erase All messages (Menu # 3 2 5) and follow the prompts to confirm (highlight Yes and press Select). You can also press * 5 to erase all messages from the Answering Device sub menu. 3) During a remote call, *4 and * 5 work as above when using the handset. The KX-TGA model prefix usually means the handset of a Panasonic cordless phone system. Most of the time to find the manual, you need the model number of the base. The handset model number isn't always listed in the manual or on the product support site. It sounds as if you have outbound CID blocked on your trunks just like mine. It is also possible but very unlikely that way down in the KSU programming the CLIP function was enabled bogus information to fool the other party. Like I said UNLIKELY but possible.

Only seen this a hundred times or so. Someone has set your message waiting light on by mistake. Use the intercom and press the message button. It will call the person who set it. They MUST answer to clear this. Also it can be set up to 8 times so you may have to repeat this.

Depends on which system. TD systems set CF time within the KSU programming. Some allow you to set the time before forwarding off the display. You can try a display set and going to program mode. then press the FWD/DND button to set the various forwarding details.

This is done at the KSU from the programming station. Normally this is station 101. It depends on which system you are using to give you any more help.

Do you mean the KX-TGE430? This is the base for the KX-TGE432, KX-TGE433, and KX-TG3634. To delete numbers from the Call Block, press the Call Block key (bottom right of the handset). Choose the single number or range of number option using the arrow keys. Press Select (a soft key - see the display). Use the arrow keys to highlight a number or block of numbers in the list. Press the soft key for Delete. Highlight Yes and press the soft key for Select. Press Off when done. Alternatively, after entering either the single number or range of number call block section, press Menu. Then choose Erase All. Highlight Yes and press Select. You need to press the Phone or Speaker button or the soft key for Phone (see the LCD screen) after entering the phone number to dial the phone. You go to menu then erase select yes select off.

Check for a settings menu. There should be a ringer volume setting. Try menu. Settings. Ringer. Ringer volume.

What kinds of issues? Can you try another phone plugged into the jack?
