Memorex iWake MI4004 Clock Radio Questions & Answers
I have the memorex Mi4004 and it won't charge
Hi, I do have the solution, the Memorex Mi400 clock radio does not itself support charging of the iPod touch. last model supported was the iPod video 5g. There may be a way around this however, I have an iPod sound system that doesn't support charging either-however it has a ipod charging port on the back-if I plug in my iPod touch's charger there it charges, so I would look on the back of your clock radio to see if there is a connector that looks like the one on the bottom of your iPod touch. Plug charger in there and you'll be good to go. I hope this was helpful and thanks for choosing FixYa-good luck, Prodzilla.
My memorex quit playing all sound
- Unplug the unit and remove the batteries, wait 5 minutes, plug the unit back in and install the batteries.
- Check the male end on the iwake and the female end of the ipod for damage, if you are using an ipod it sounds like you may have a bad connection.
- Check if the Radio function plays sound.
- Make sure the Volume is not turned down.
- Does it play through the headphone jack? If so, your speakers may have failed.
- Most likely this will need to be sent in to Memorex, or a new unit will need to be purchased.

My alarm clock does not distinguish between AM and
Sounds like a display problem where the indicator isn't working. This might be a bad connection or it could be the display itself or the driving electronics. In any case, it would probably cost you more than the clock radio's worth to have it repaired (assuming you find someone who'd take it for repair in the first place!).
Here's a "solution", though. Set your alarm for a time only a couple of minutes later than the current time and wait around. Depending on whether or not the alarm sounds, you'll know if it's set for AM or PM. At least you'll be able to keep using it until you decide to replace it.
My mi4004 radio does not have any sound everything
I have the exactly problem with my radio ....Model : Mi4004BLK ....it's do not have sound and every time click boton it blink in the screen when
I don't have the ticket to return the radio because I have 2 years with it and I can't remember in which store I bought....( Walmart, Target , Best Buy )....why can I do so I can resolve this and it can work ?
No sound
no thats not it , i have the same problem and both the ipod and iwake are fine.. even when i try to use the radio th one iwake, no sound comes out still.. so i thought the problem lies within the speaker, but even when i plug earphones into the iwake, no sound comes out of them, whether it be on ipod or radio..
Battery area
The batteries (2 AAA) are made as a back up for the clock and alarms only, and would not be powerful enough to run the radio on their own.
My dock can only charge my iPod.
Try unplugging it for a while then plug it back in and try again. If that doesn't work, you may have to get another remote or have it serviced.
Best of luck :)

Possessed
Drop the superstitious ****. The iWake clock radio has two components in it that, when brushed together, turn it on. This is an unusual occurance, but it does happen. Here's how to fix it. You must purchase a 352 page book and prop the iWake on a 23.14 degree angle. This will cause one component slightly lean backwards, causing the components to never brush up again. Or, you could take up exorsism and cast spells on it to try and shoo the evil iSpirits away.
Clock radio frozen in time
I have it too, and I think it has something to do with the timezone, so try resetting your timezone, and then the clock. it was happening to me, and I fixed it somehow. hope that helps.
