The System Wizard button helps the remote store its settings inside the receiver as a backup, and then also backs up the receiver settings inside the remote, in case either needs to be replaced. It works best when you start the wizard while the remote is set down on a table or sturdy surface close to the receiver. If the remote won't leave the wizard, make sure you've exited all on screen menus (use the keys on the receiver) then remove the batteries. that could be a hard one you have to find the search procedure to each remote and try searching the code the other thing you can do is buy a Sony learning remote and go to where that sub is sold borrow their remote for a minute and have the sony remote learn the commands that the sub remote has by putting them together with the remotes learning procedure.
