try that better way: FIRST : try to remove your battery and re insert it again then presss the C button at the same time when you press the power button. i think it will switch on.but if it doesnt work,,, try to update your mobile software via SONYERICSSON SOFTWARE UPDATER..

This means that your mobile has some serious hardware and software problem, the only way to fix it is to take it to an electronic store ( the place where you purchased your phone ) along with your receipt and tell them about your problem.

As you know your headphone is acting as external antena for mobile phone. Try to catch radil station after replacing other headphone. If it doesn't work it must be problem of your phones FM ic. This can be put right only replacing it, only skilled technician can do this with special tool and skill. turn off your phone, pull out the battery and the sim card, and put them back and turn on your phone...
repeat it several times if it's necessary...
if it don't work, you could bring it to sony ericsson center and check your phone up... it could be just the firmware but also it could be the device
