You can only bluetooth these files over to your cell and they will prompt you to allow installation if i remember when i had one,they just bluetooth& work without any problems.I had a lg mobile that could transfer via usb but that was time consuming and stupid.There is a site called mobango.com and mobile9 where you can download free mobile games etc.

u can not save text messages in memory card in k610i phone

if u  want to transfer ... sms 4rm phone memory to memory card directely  that would nt be possible ...  i am going to suggest u  a different method which is easy ..
 what u need 2 do is  that u need to insatll sonyericssion pc suit and transfer sms 4rm phone memory to ur computer ......................

These cells have the bb5 security software and require a shop with a unlocker called a se tool and a connection to the companys server and you need to purchase a unlock credit.Do a ebay search and these tools are available or just read about it on the net,just type se tool etc.

Their are different unlock codes for different phones. There may be a universal one for this phone but usually you can enter your phone imei on a website. It usually costs. #06# for your imei or in the back of the phone.

I had a problem where the mobile screen went white for two K610i (within a month of each other). The phones because totally unuseable. I sent the first to the Sony Ericsson authorised repair company: Kuehne + Nagel and never saw it again! (The UK phone number to find the repair company was 08705 237237)

The second I tried searching the net. The following suggested changing the firmware:

Thinking I had nothing to lose, I tried it and hey presto! back and running. I needed to google/research with firmware I wanted, but this time I got the set of languages I selected! It only cost 7 Euro! (I just used the data cable that came with the phone.)

but there may be others out there.

U have reset to factory default setting....

To do that Ucan type >*<<*<* for accessing the service menu...

Try restarting your handset and then follow the same thing.

You should be able to down load the latest softwear off the Sony Ericsson website. Otherwise the phone should have a 12 month manufactues warranty and can have it done for free at an authorised Sony Ericsson repair centre.

For saving setting you will have some free memory if free memory is not available then It will not install.
For installing please first release some memory from phone memory.

when youre on a message click options and scroll down to copy and then click copy to sim. works for the phones ive had. hope this helps

Please check the charger connector for dirt, if possible take an old toothbrush and clean with alchohol, let it dry and refix everything. should work.
