i want to use a diffrent sim card instead of a 3mobile sim card.
how do i unlock it?

Try turning the sound up.

On the side of the phone press <----> during a call to turn the ear piece up/down.

The main button (joystick) turns speaker up/down.

new phones come up with an anti virus that restarts when detecting viruses but dont remove them and these viruses change place so some times whatever you press it restarts so you have to attach your phone to an pc/lap and check it for viruses but be careful for system files so cancle auto remove or heal and then check the viruses .

Soyericsson phone of your type doesnot attack by a virus please save and backup all your data like phonebook, picture etc. and reset settings. it will be alright.

go to settings-data communication-prefered service. try change from ps&cs to cs only.

just fill in required info from drop down boxes and S/E will send settings to your handset like a text message. It should prompt you to save/install, and then may ask to set as default? Select YES. Finished.
These settings will set up mobile internet which is used to download/upload the pictures, and MMS settings that enables your phone to handle the message for your network.
If you still have problems after doing this you may need to speak to your network provider as they may need to change some settings that you cannot see?

the firmware need to be reflash on the phone so take the phone toa mobile service center and have them flash it for you or you can do this online at topsony.com.

Hi, Take out the battery and leave it out overnight. Then put it back in the following day and try turning the phone on. If this didn't help, then flashing is required. You can try flashing with SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) which is free and if that doesn't work then you will need to use wotanserver(requires credits=money) or send it to a service center. you need to either upgrade the firmware on the phone or flash the present firmware on the phone to correct this issue.....you can do this online at topsony.com or take it to a mobile service center to have it done.

Strip down the cell but you should have removed the battery after getting it out of water,i find most cells recover if dissasembled a.s.a.p and cleaned out then the circutboard can be wiped down with a lubricant like wd40 using a fine small artist paintbrush and swabbing with a cotton cloth gently to remove moisture.The residue wd40 displaces corrosion that may occur in future.

Try tehse steps
1. Switch off and switch it back on ,
2. Switch off and take out battery , when battery is out , press power on button for 30 secs and then out battery back again and switch on the mobile. This process is known as releasing flee power.
3. If still does not work, check whether the SIM is properly connected, take out SIM and put it back again and then check.

f still does not work then contact , the phone manufacturer, phone has to be reset or its not loading up properly and says inactive SIM , u can also contact the people whom u pay for the phone bills and check whether SIM is active or not
