The only way to restore your phone contact is if you have previously created a backup of your contacts otherwise there is no way to restore your contacts. But if you have created a backup previously then you would just use the previously created backup to restore your contacts.

Are you getting Sim card not accepting error message? If it is so then your Sony Ericsson W550i is locked to a particular network. To fix this you have to unlock it. Use unlock code to unlock your mobile from its network lock. To get the code you need to submit network provider, country and IMEI number of the mobile. Make sure yourself whether you have knew the network provider to which your mobile is locked, country to which the locked network belongs to and IMEI number of your mobile. If not you can find the IMEI number in two ways:1)Go to Options>status2)Find IMEI on the back of your mobile, behind the battery.3)Type *#06# and press call button. It will display your IMEI number.You can find the network provider to which your mobile is currently locked by switch off your mobile and switch on it again. A logo of the locked network will get displayed on your mobile screen. After knew all these get the code from the site Mobileunlocksolutions.com ,by submitting these to them. Unlock it yourself using unlocking instructions which is given in the site itself.

1. Connect your W550i phone to your PC using the USB cable.
2. Use it in File transfer mode.
3. Go to it's Others folder on the Memory Stick that just appeared over at the My computer screen. (probably called PHONE_CARD or something similar).
4. Copy the .jar files from your PC to the Others folder on the phone's stick.

5. Disconnect your phone properly (safely remove hardware) and allow it to restart or return to Phone Mode.

6. They should appear in your games folder. Otherwise go to your files on your phone (File Manager) and go to Others. and open the files.

please check ur video format is it eigther avi, mp4, 3gp etc.

ur phone is compatible only with 3gp video format so please download first 3gp formatted video clips. and u can send video clips only under 100kb size.

Hi,

Try taking out the battery and leaving it out overnight then put back in and try to turn on again. If this doesn't help, then your phone's software needs to be flashed.
