Ciphering

Ciphering is mainly caused due to old sim cards. There are two ways in which youo can solve this
1)Remove your sim and insert it again and see if the problem persists
2)Go to the customer care center of operator that provided you with sim card and demand for a new sim with the same number. You'll get this for free and insert it and enjoy.

How to reformat w550i

i have same problem. I recently tried to use my data cable and it wouldnt work. I had to charge it up and phone died. It wouldnt switch on - when it did go on I got a white screen for a few seconds and phone died again. I took it into a shop who said it was software glitch but they could resolve it. RIP w550i :(

How do u enter a puk code in a w550i?

If a PUK is required, your W550i will display the message "pin blocked"
This is when you enter your PUK and then press ok.
Then choose a new pin (4 to 8 digits) and repeat it when prompted.
Remember your new pin this time ;-) lol

Pin code sony ericsson W550

HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.

Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.

There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.
