Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.

There is nothing much you could do. Few Steps you could Follow and see, if there is any Improvement unless you need to Repair the Remote or Look for Replacement. Sending the Remote for Repair is not Recommended as the Cost of Repair would be high relevant to the Cost of the New one.

1. Step 1 - Take Out The Battery for Few Minutes, say 30 minutes and then Put it Back.

2. Step 2 - You could Clean the Remote from Outside Cleanly and Clean the Connectors with a Cleaning Solution.

3. Step 3 - Dissemble the Remote and Clean it and see, if Cleaning would help. I have seen Dust and Dirt might Cause the same Problem for Few Buttons.

4. Step 4 - If not, you need to Repair the Remote. There would be an Electronic Circuit Board that you need to Check. You need to have Voltmeter.If you wish to Repair it, revert and i would be follow up.

Most of these control units are friction fit together with tabs and detents. You should be able to pry it open with a thin knife blade. Please be careful and only apply pressure away from all your body parts. Even if you should crack the case (which will only make it easier to get apart) that should not affect the performance once it is reassembled.
Have you tried exercising the keys while spraying "canned air" around the button?
