It sounds like your battery is faulty. 3 years of use is enough to wear a battery out. Try replacing the battery and see if the problem clears up. The LG Env can only support music within the MUSIC folder on the Mini SD card, put all the MP3's in the Music folder.

Check to see what version of firmware you are running, there's been a lot of similar complaints about the same problems with version 4. My fiance and I both have this phone and I have those problems and I looked last night and I'm running version 4 of the firmware, he's running version 3. A little digging around on the verizon forums helped me realize I'm not the only one having the problem.

To check your firmware version, open Settings and Tools, select phone info and select SW/HW version the SW version should say something like VX11KV04 if you're running version 4, if you're running version 3 its VX11KV03

try taking the battery out for 5 minutes and then re install it. be sure the battery is fully charged

make sure the bluetooth item is on first. then in the menu on your phone, go to bluetooth settings and turn it on. there should be a discover mode. that is the one you need for ur phone to hook up with ur bluetooth item
