Sadly it does happen to these phones more often then it should...

The best you can do is either get a new battery from your local dealer(or online) or just clean the contacts really good with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

If the phone receives a charge that isn't the rated from it's normal battery it freaks out and says that you're using a poor battery... It's really stupid.

Hi,do you want to unlock your mobile? if so try unlock codes from your provider and unlock your mobile and in case if you dont get it from them then make a try with online providers..there are many who are providing codes of that recently i came across classicunlocking where they are providing unlock codes for mobile models..check with it..

the LG chocolate is bad and knowen by battery problem and low capacity,, with your problem you must get new battery with best quality but I recommand you to change your mobile when you go back from Puerto Rico and have a good vacation.. ;)
