Your ringtones will be in Filemanager/sounds.Please check whether you can access the ringtone there and you can play it. This is because you cannot play all the file formats in your phone.If it is possible, then just press right soft key and you can see the options for setting it as ringtone.PLease ask if you need any further info.Njoy

Press and hold the back arrow button.Then if some applications are running, then you can see the popup for minimizing the application and close the application.If any window is coming, please close the applications if any.

you can fix this problem by updating the phone's software.
first, go to sonyericsson.com
then, download the software that can update your phone there
install it
lastly, follow the instructions and update the phone properly

Yes, Its 100% tested and working solution.
Follow these steps;

If you want to unlock the security code follow this;

Open this link, select your phone and download the software. (PLEASE CLICK HERE)

Follow the onscreen instructions to install the software.

Once installed, turn off the mobile and remove the battery. Now reinsert the battery and insert the cable (DCU-60 that comes with the box) while holding the 'c' or '@' button on your mobile.

Your computer will detect a new device and install it.

Once installed please unplug your mobile, remove the battery. Now reinsert it.

Download xs++ from here

Extract this file and run XS++.exe

In XS++, click Connect.

Hold 'C' or '@' key on your phone and then insert the USB cable.

u can get some information about your phone when it's connected

click or tick GDFS at the bottom.

Then click Phone Lock, and reset it to 0000.

It will either reset the code to 0000 or will show you the code on right hand side. Note that code.

click Settings at the bottom, then Disconnect.

unplug the USB cable, remove then reinsert the battery.

You are done, enter 0000 or the Noted one (In the 3rd last step)

Yes you have to format its GDFS, through the Data Cable (CDU-60) and a software called XS++ or SETool.
All things are mentioned on this thread, I'v tested it many times 100% Working.

check ur battery that it is charged or not may ur battery is worn out go and buy a new battery and check the set

delete all the detected BT devices in the list and then try again..

if still not working then u have to check it by some expert or do a factory reset by keeping your data save...

Problem with the microphone then. Try factory reseting the phone, if it doesnt help, take it to repair.

every phone has a specific memory card so go to the shop and buy a specific memory to you phone w880i....

go online or callthe uk opereator to unlock it and then it will work

sometimes it needs reprogramming of the phone. thats why you cant turn it on. maybe it just had phone virus so plae an anti virus the next time

Connect your phone to XS++, go to the GDFS tab, and select the "read phone lock code" option. Then as your phone is sony, your phone lock code will be set to 0000 again.
