you need to call track phone

type LIVE and send to 2567 from your mobile, you will receive settings....
For Mobile office type MO and send to 2567 you will receive settings accordingly....

im guessing this is something to do with the call settings. read your user manual on that matter. as you can see i only specify in samsung devices.

I think that all you need to do is put a new firmware on the phone.
This will enable you to use the free "moto unlock 2005 software" with your USB lead to unlock ur V3


This did take me about 5 hours to find all the info admittedly but it's all out there - Ignore all those trying to charge £10 to change 32 bytes of code - forums and torrent trackers are your friends!... Use them...

....V3 ONLY (as far as I know)...

1. First thing to do is to check your firmware. Turn your phone off. Hold down the * and # keys, and press the ON key. Should be a black screen displaying a few characters.

If it says bootloader 7.D0 you are in luck. Go to step 4, then step 10

2. If it says 7.E0, or 8.23 you can go here

and grab the (unlockable) bootloader 7.D0 and apply it with Smartmoto or similar flashing app. Then see step 4.

3. If it says 8.26 you will need the bootloader downgrader here http://rapidshare.de/files/13848110/scotty2_8.26_downgrader_v2.zi...

4. Put the 3 driver files on your hard drive (USBMOT2000.INF, P2K.INF, P2k.sys)

5. Turn your phone on. Connect it to your computer. Windows should recognise it and ask for drivers. Point it to the drivers u just put on. When it has finished, your V3 will charge via USB.

6.Run Smartmoto. Windows should recognise some extra parts of your phone and ask u for drivers. Point it to the same drivers.

7. Once Windows has finished installing these drivers close Smartmoto, and reboot your computer. Put the phone on flash. When windows has loaded again open up smartmoto. Connect your phone, and set the box in the top left of smartmoto to "computer USB Port". Hit the "search" button and smartmoto will find your phone.

8. click on PC Flash at the bottom left. Click where it says "browse" and find the R374_V3BL_07.D0.shx file from your harddrive. Click on "write flash"

9. When it is finished it will ask u if you want to flash another phone. Hit "no" and close smartmoto. Turn your phone off, and put it into flash mode once more. Don't worry if the flash screen now looks different - this is normal.

10. Now you can run the Motorola_unlocker_2005_free and this time it should work. When it has finished your phone should be unlocked!!

it will not unlocked online or through codes...you need to go to a cellshop and unlocked it using smart clip gadget..thanks

Bajaj, Firstly have GPRS activated by the service provider, MTNL in your case. They will do it if you ask their helpline. Then ask them to sms the phone settings. Once you incorporate the phone settings you are on your way surfing. These settings are service provider specific and thats why only they can give the settings to you.

i don't think you can so taugh luck...

try and start the phone in flash mode,,hold the * key and # key down at the same time as pressing the power button,if that works youll have to reflash your phone

the truth is that you cannot unlock the phone for free.

There is a free site you can try out first but it is for soft
unlock not hard unlock.You can use this link for the soft unlock,
then trying out that with this site unlocktotalk.com/UnlockCodeInstructions.htm,
you will now try out the hard unlock with the site below
Note:hard unlock is not free,You will be charged to get your unlock code.
The only way by which you can get the unlock code for free is by calling your service provider
and requesting for your unlock code.

to set up voice dialing on the V# first you need to record and store the names..you do this by, open up your contacts, then go to the name you want to voice dial,and record the name.then on the right side of the screen part of the V3 press the button..the rest is easy

Please activate the MMS service with your service provider and it should do also disable screening of teh images before sending them.
