dear,try to reconnect it with data cable with pc. Check if pc is showing something connected with it. If yes then check your phone connectivity settings. OR you can use bluetooth option by inserting a cheep bluetooth device with your pc. It will not cost much...best of luck!

Its a hardware problem means you have to change your mobile display screen.

Take the battery out and plug the phone in, with no battery. Does it come on? If it does, it's a bad battery. If it doesn't, it's time for a new phone.

You need the data cable and software of this phone for you to download pictures to your computer.
Here's the procedure on how to install the software:

1. Download current version Sprint PCS Connection Modem and USB software from Sprint
Downloads. Download Universal Extractor from http://legroom.net/software/uniextract

2. Extract driver from Sprint PCS Connection software using Universal Extractor

3. Run installer for SY03 driver from extraction folder:

Sprint_PCS_CM_v044\program files\Common Files\Sprint\Sanyo SY03\SANYO_Installer\USB_DRIVER\sy03_setup.exe

Original Katana uses SY03 driver.

this is the problem usually caused by virus and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest imate serice centre,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed.... also the problem can be with the battery,because of the defective charger used.use the charger provided for your mobile model alone because even though the charger is same for all the models,the battery model,amps differ according to the model...
