Unfortunately it will not work. TMobile uses GSM technology while Sprint is on CDMA.

Is the Sanyo Katana LX made from T-mobile or any of it's distributors?

How long ago did you get your phone. It is store policy to exchange your phone within the first 30days of purchase. I have done that with Sprint. You might want to ask the cell phone provider to run a check on your phone and to update it for free. If you are under the 30 days warranty and the agent doesn't want to help you ask to speak to a manager and tell them you will report them to the Department of consumer affair in your city.

sprint does not have a sim card.

Katans are known for this problem. What you need to do is take it back to the sprint store and have them repair or replace the phone. Generally what happens is the earpiece speaker goes or something happened between the board and the speaker.

In this case, please dip the Mobile phone in Glass of Water to resolve the issue.

Okay here's how to remove the battery:
1.Lay phone back up on a flat surface
2.You will see a tiny little tab that you can with your nail pull back that is like a safety release.
3.Then with your other hand grasp the two sides of the back and pull it off

Same thing happened to my Alias. The problem is the speaker went on the phone or the connection went on the board. Take it back to sprint and depeneding on the age and condition of the phone it should be covered under warranty. Also they will work with a headset if you happen to have one handy.

If you just changed phones and not carriers, you could take the SIM card out of your current phone and put it on your old phone to reactiveate it. If you changed carriers, you could try to use the SIM card of someone else you know who is with the old carrier. Then you can forward the pictures using MMS (SMS for files) or possibly connect it to a computer using a usb cable.
