I had the same problem. I finally found a firmware upgrade at www.rcaaudiovideo.com. After downloading and running it the player works fine. Be sure to check the box that says "format data area".

yes...you click SYNC on windows media player and on the LEFT MARGIN thingy look for THE WORD PEARL OR TYPE OF MP3 PLAEYER you have............ click it and then what pops up you click CLICK HERE and then on the song list delete the songs you don't want! :]

1. the same place you got firmware has "ask a question" put something in there that is too long and you will get a not found message with a link to email support.do that they get back to you.

1)try your player in another usb port.
2)reboot your computer
3)make sure you have the software and drivers installed for your player.
4)and make sure it is fully charged.

you can fix it ...its simple..just reset the player to factory settings...the procedure will be given in the instruction manual and its easy to do it.thanks for using fix ya. please dont forget to rate my solution!

Go here and do the update. It's the same version...but it works. Run the update, put a good battery in and THEN put it in the usb.

connect it to your computer....open it through my computer as an external harddisk and then just drag and drop the songs that you want on your player :)

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

u have more times unplugged it....u had better to use safety remove hardware.

can't put music on it by USB DRIVE. Won't access the HARDWARE

I had this problem with my player (th 1101) when I was transferring songs from iMesh. After awhile I found out that even though I could listen to the files on the computer some wouldn't go on the mp3 player. Looked it up and there is an encoding on some tracks (preimium tracks they call it) that unless you pay for them they won't transfer off the computer (CD, MP3 players ect.). They also had free tracks that works just fine. Hope that helps

After contacting blaupunkt, they say there is a problem with your unit. Please contact them for repair or replacement

Plug it into any usb port on any computer. The unit should mount as a removable drive in "my computer" delete only the MP3 files, as some of the others may be software for operation of the MP3 player. Rock on!
