Q
Can I create a playlist with my RCA Pearl ?
You can no logner transfer playlists to this device - the playlist ability was linked to Microsoft's MusicMatch Jukebox Service, which was cancelled in October 2007, after this player was manufactured. This is one of the many reasons that this player is now obsolete.

RCA Pearl TH1100A
There are two possibilities - corrupt DB or songs in wrong format.
If it is a corrupt DB, then go to RCA's website for the latest firmware upgrade.

Make sure the songs are in the correct format. Make sure the songs are not AAC, WAV, streaming, or some other non-supported format
Mp3 players are more complicated than ever. This player may only accept DRM-encrypted WMA files. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license. If the song says that it has no license, it will not work with this player. One remedy is to use mp3 converter software to convert all of those wma files to Mp3's - I don't know of any free ones, but you can certainly look for free Mp3 Converters. Another remedy on unlicensed songs is to hit the "acquire license" link in the license tab, if one exists.

I cant put music on
Normally, you wait for the autorun/play to open a folder to view or put your files into.
Open windows explorer to your music library. drag and drop to the first folder,
that autoplay opens, from the second folder, your music library.
It its supposed to be that simple.

The language is in french
You have to access the player menu by pressing M during playback. Once in the menu press + or - until you find settings in french that would be "reglages" or "parametres". Press the play/pause button to enter. While in the settings menu again using + or - scroll through until you find language press the play/pause button and select english.

Hello,
connect your player to a computer. After it must have been installed, go to my computer and you will see a drive representing your player.
Then you can simply songs from your computer to the player.
After that, eject the player from your computer and you can begin to enjoy music from your player thereafter.
Best regards.
I have download some music
Usually if you plug in your MP3 player Windows will recognize it and pull it up automatically. Then all you need to do is either drag and drop the .mp3 files onto the drive or use Windows Media Player to sync it for you.
