Bad power board

Your question was posted in 2012. It is now 2021. My Polaroid TV is 13 years old and tonight it started doing the same thing. My solution worked for me. I have my TV connected to a personal computer running Windows 10. I went into the display settings and change the resolution for the second screen to match the resolution for the first screen which is the screen that comes with the computer and that corrected the problem. It may be that somehow the resolution setting that you are sending through the HDMI cable needs to be changed. Anyway it worked for me.

Darn frustrating!!!!! Have spoken to the techs who are so patients and helpful, but all they say is: we are waiting for google to fix the problem!!!!!
