Do i have to wait for my mp3 player to be fully

Hi,

It is not necessary to fully charge the unit as it will also charge itself via the USB cable when you are connected to the computer.

For a breakdown on transferring music onto an MP3 player please view this FixYa Tip.
www.fixya.com/support/r3774521-connect_mp3_player_computer_transfer_mp3

Where possible always install and use the original software that came with the player by installing it to the computer from the CD.

Hope this helps. If so - your rating is appreciated.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I want to remove a artist from my playlist

if you dont like the artist or music albums name to be appearing in the display(which is sometime annoying)the trick is here.drag and drop your songs and mp3 lists into the player just like basic copy and paste in windows.the name of the album and artists appear in the display only if you synchronize your player with the computer using players(like real,Wmv etc).
so go for the basic copy and paste instead of synchronizing option.please let me know your feedback.
thanks,

Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds or If that does not work then I would try using a different cable and see if it is the cable that is the issue.

It seems if you have installed that CD before, if yes, all you need is just check weather you removed it properly.
Also check that the CD your are installing is scratch -free. doesn't contains any viruses.

if still this problem occurs then just open the CD-ROM after your PC has started running the disk.
Open that folder and manually install the software you require.

I was given a Philips brdan iPod but own a MacBook

since it's not an apple made mp3 player, you shouldn't need itunes to use it. whoever gave it to you probably neglected to give you the software disc you need to download your music, but try taking the music straight from itunes drag and drop style, or whatever other music programs you may be using.
