Microsoft Mouse Model 1058 - can't undo magnifier!
Hi, I have the same problem. I resolved it. The steps are -
1.Go to control panel
2. click on mouse and it will take you to mouse properties . It will display you the Microsoft mouse
3.Go to "buttons" Tab
4.Change the option in the "small thumb button" box to "click" from "Magnifier"..the default is "Magnifier"..that is why if u accidentally push this button..it opens up an annoying magnifier..
5. then click apply..It works

Printscreen will not print
In the old DOS days, Print Screen would send a copy of the screen to the printer.
In Windows, Print Screen sends a copy to the Clip Board.
So, what you need to do is open an application like WordPad, MS Word, Paint or some other program and Paste to a new file. Then you can print the image from that file.
A side note: The PrintScreen key captures the whole screen, the ALT-PrintScreen key combination captures only the active window.

I accidentally turned on the wireless 5000 mouse
Normal
0
The button on the left side of the mouse when pressed turns the Magnifier on/off. Just press it again and it should turn off.
I kept turning it on accidentally so I went in the control panel and switched the Magnifier to the right side. I added that below so you can set your mouse buttons.
Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon.
Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse buttons.
In the Left column is the button settings. The bottom one is the Right
Button, which is set for Magnify. Whenever you hit the Right
Side button the magnifier will turn on. To turn it off, hit the Right
Side Button and off it goes. You can change any of the button
settings by clicking on the drop down.
Hope this helps. Bud
