click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question / exclamation? ! mark or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

It sounds like a defect in the USB circuit on your system board. (This assumes that the problem occurs with any USB port). You might be able to add a PCMCIA board to add USB funcionality without replacing the system board to save money.

Hi, you could try updating your driver. Go to start, control manager, hardware then select device manager, if its there, click the + and right ckick your device and select update driver. Hope this helps

simple just get it off ebay

Did you try turning the Radio Button on. I had the same problem for awhile until I realized the 1st Silver button on the Keyboard that turns on the Radio signal. Thats how you get the wireless capatability to work. Try that.

most likely the usb device has viruses,try formatting it on another pc and then plug into your comp

sounds like a faulty USB driver - i recommend uninstalling all USB drivers and using drivermax.com to get the correct ones. Your computer may have automatically updated your drivers incorrectly without you knowing.
