Please be clear about your problem. The Docucolor 1256GA is the same family as the Docucolor 1250/ 12 series. So there should not be any problem to print in Heavyweight Paper.

FAULT CODE 094-322. WHAT CAUSES

ERROR CODE 094-322 RAP Second BTR Retract Failure

The error relates to the Second bias transfer roller not retracting. It could be a fault with the roller but i would open the transfer draw and check the connections and seating of everything and try it again. More often than not this clears the error.

1. Check the front door and the toner door are both closed. 2. If that doesn't do it try powering the printer on and off. Note be sure to allow the machine to completely turn off before turning back on.

Thank you for your question at Fixya,

The solution to your problem is as follows :-

  • What you need to do is set the printer's settings to default, from the printer's preferences.
  • Then you need to check the paper size settings in the printer as well as the computer , and they should match each other.
  • Now , if that does not work , then without going into complexions , just uninstall the printer's drivers completely from the device manager and then reconnect the printer after unplugging it and restarting your computer and then reinstall the drivers back.

Fault # 15-363 on

Fault 15-363 is triggered when the control logic (basically the processor of the printer) has detected a memory clearance error - the data stored in the memory could not be retrieved.
This is a hardware failure - the memory module is defective and it will have to be replaced. You will have to call a certified repairman for that, they are the only ones with the expertise required for that and access to the spare parts..

Hi Pat,
We had a problem in our print shop similar to this, it was caused by the heat when the toner is fused to the paper, it actually shrunk the image from heat. To test this theory try running the job on the heaviest card stock you have and see if it is still smaller. In any event the only way we could work around this was to send all jobs out at 100.6% on text and 100.4% on card stock. I was told unofficially that the update from xerox actually does something similar to this but only works when the image is copied off the glass. You may have to adjust the percentages and also make sure that you are setting the copier to the closet gsm of your stock. The heavier the stock the more heat it needs to fuse the toner, so try running on the lowest gsm setting you can; but beware if you set it too low the image will scratch off the paper.

Hi there! The blue color is becoming violet because the Cyan and the Magenta toners are not getting mixed in the proper 100:100 ratio (100% Magenta and 100% Cyan make CMYK Blue). Since the print is violet, the culprit is the Cyan toner. Now, first, get the Cyan Developer Assy checked if there is enough developer in it. If no, get it refilled by a proper tech and manually mix about 50 grams of the Cyan Toner with the developer. Also get the tech to check the trimmer gap on the Developer Assy with a metering gauge. If yes, next check the Cyan dispenser motor located on the backside of the Toner Housing Assy. It is probably broken and not dispensing any toner to the Cyan Developer Assy . Additionally, check for the Cyan Dispenser Auger blockage or jam. It is located under the Cyan Toner Cartridge in the Toner Housing Assy and also check the auger under the Cyan Developer Assy. After sorting these out, you should get proper CMYK blue from the 10th or 12th page once you resume printing.Let me know. Regards
