Are you trying to find a particular term in the geometric sequence? That is not something that can be done by calculator. Do all the operations to get a result. Look at the number of significant figures in each number in the chain of operations. Keep the least number of significant figures. The result of a calculation cannot be more precise than the least precise of its components.
