Drivers for that sound card can be downloaded from M-Audio's support site linked below.

http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver

Choose Delta Series Card>Delta 1010>Select OS and you should be able to download the drivers.

Your idea is absolutely the correct direction. There must be a smooth interface between the two. I strongly suggest you first remove the 64 bit driver. Remove the sound card and see if the 32 bit driver shows back up. If the 32 bit driver shows back up - remove it. Then remove the card. With the card removed - take a pencil eraser and scrub the cards pins ] the copper looking things going into the pci slot. Look for any blockage in the PCI card slot. Also use AIR and push the AIR right into the Power Supply cage & push out as much dust - [ it's in there] as you can.
Now restart the pc without the sound card and do a quick search for the name of the sound driver. If you have the install disk and there are no little hangers on files - Put the disk in or run the file for 64 bit drivers. NOTE - just because the drivers work doesn't mean the software will work. Check to see the software it self will work. Be sure to know if the instructions ask you to install the card FIRST or NOT - -if first - shut the machine down and install the card. Once the 1010 is back in - boot everything up and check the driver is working. If it isn't working -or partially working - right click the program - properties and choose RUN AS XP.
This will cause your unit to work. If this doesn't work for you. Remove the card and install it in a borrowed or back up machine. If one card is working and one card just like it isn't - AND both are in the same machine swap their positions. Check to be 100% sure you have enough resources to run BOTH cards on that set up. To up tick the RAM is also a good thing. Put in the MAX ram for the machine as Win7 takes a ton of ram -more than any other pc operating system you have ever had. HERE ARE THE BEST DRIVERS
Best of it
