My fridge does the open

Depending on which two numbers after the ET1FHTXM may make a difference. For example ET1FHTXM00 the only thing that may cause a beep or cut the refrigerator (that I know of) on or off would be=> Circuit Board or Timer 2213473 This is a ADC adaptive defrost control and when they go bad strange things happen.Click Here=>

You can also find a Tech Sheet wiring diagram=> Here

How to change water filter

The water filter on this model is located on the bottom of the unit at the kickplate. You turn the unit counter clockwise to remove the filter.

My refrigerator is leaking water on the floor from the left side of the refrigerator

It sounds like you may have a frozen drain line in your freezer. If you have water under the crisper drawers in the ref section this would be a good indicator. If this is the case you could unplug the unit and leave both doors open for 24 hours to let your drain line thaw out. Hope this helps. MJ

My whirlpool model #ET1FHTXMQ01 keeps

We have had the same problem lately. We have called Whirlpool, looked all over the internet and asked several people but still cannot seem to find out why this happening. We constantly have to scrape the layer of ice off the bottom of the freezer and we also have to put a bowl in the back of our fridge where water continuously drips, if we don't, it floods our top shelves. I'm sorry I couldn't be much more help, but I wanted to let you know that you're not alone and that we have been experiencing the exact same issue. If I find out what's causing ours, I will be sure to come back and post it on here.

Annoying beeping of the Kenmore refrigerator!!!

I don't believe this model has an alarm in it. The beep you hear maybe the evaporator fan motor, also if there is an icemaker in the frig be sure it is turned off

I HAV A WHIRL. ET1FHTXMQ03

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

If so pull everything and unplug and do a manual defrost a hair drier will speed things up.Sounds like we need to use the tech sheet here but Kitchenaid will not allow me to publish here. So Skater125 you need to click here and I will send it to you only, Thanks, Sea Breeze
