Sounds stupid but I've had this issue with 2 different brand TV's and I unplug them for 5-10 minutes and then they are fine. I just had this happen just a week ago with a TV again.

The power supply of yur television have problem.Theres some leak or shorted parts in the power supply.Need for repair the power supply.

I have the same problem, I sent it to Circuit City service and they said that they have to replace the power suplly assembly $500+ repair. I have tried to find the parts online, but no one sells it.

as it has fallen on the floor

due to that its deflection coil position might  have  changed a little.

due to that its left corner has gone down.

 

deflection coil has convergence magnet on it so due to that there is change in color also.

 

please call tech to re position of deflection coil every thing will be fine as it was.
