Power Acoustik PTID-8960 Car Video Player - Page 7 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hello Brian, I do not know what amplifier for the car you have, but generally, the negative of your amplifier goes to negative battery and positive to positive battery, with the cable section indicated by the manufacturer of the amplifier
Then you will send the audio output from the stereo to the amplifier input through shielded cable
Discuss what amplifier and what stereo you have, indicate brand and model, to improve the response I am giving you
I await your comment
Greetings Franco Dosil

Espero tu comentario
Saludos Franco Dosil

Could be that the tuner has issues or the regulator that powers the tuner is damaged.

Is the player reading the CD? Do3s it load the number of tracks and actually start playing the cd (usually has a time counting with the track playing)

if so then check the cables are properly connected into the back of the head unit. Check the little block boxes too which will be on the wiring loom

I find no way to remove demo mode. However, the "work around" is as follows: Press the G button. Then, the B setup menu.

If Release locked is selected, the shutter-release button is only
enabled when a memory card is inserted in the camera.
Selecting Enable release allows the shutter to be released when
no memory card is inserted, although no pictures will be
recorded (they will however be displayed in the monitor in
demo mode). The aforementioned quote from page 250 of the manual means you avoid the problem of demo mode not saving pictures by selecting Release locked. You see, demo mode normally doesn't mind no memory card, where pictures are saved, NOT being in the camera! No card, no save, even though demo shows the pictures.

Yes an amp that is not working could cause this to happen. But I would check it out a little more because when you did the speaker test and all the speakers worked then that doesn't sound right. Find the amp and it could be just a loose connection that is giving you all these problems. Good Luck

with that little info I'll guess your looking at remote wire coming out of your Pioneer Super Tuner car stereo. That wire (usually blue) goes to a powered antenna (if you have one). It tells the antenna when you turn the radio on (raise) or off (lower). It also can be used to send a signal to a relay to turn a amp on or off too.
