it is in protection mode, Double check your wires and make sure that every wire is hooked up right. if not then you need a new amp.

Power Acoustik... | Answered on Nov 13, 2013 | 52 views

you could have a shorted speaker I would disconnect all speakers and test them 1 at a time to see if you can get the amp to make some sound before I did anything.

first of all,do u have the strip wire in the red which is the hot side of the sub, next if that doesn't fix it u need to change ur spark plugs they will interfere when the engine is running,so call ur local auto parts dealer and ask for spark plugs that don't interfere with the radio.Hope this helps

It's getting so hot that it's going into thermal protection. Turn down the gains of lighten the speaker load. The more speakers that hook up to it the more power it will put out causing the amp to overheat. Eventually it will burn up some of the output Mosfett Power Transistors.

Assassin's Creed III

Capturing a sense a serious amounts of place has always been central towards appeal of each Assassin's Creed. If the dusty streets of Masayaf, the c**** veined archipelago of Venice or even the sun baked Constantinople, everyone of Ubisoft's chosen settings has been designed with such a level of authenticity and historical accuracy (albeit twisted because of their narrative purposes), which it's quite normal you just read stories of tourists having the capacity to make their way around Rome simply from having memorised the map in Brotherhood.

It's hardly surprising then that with Assassin's Creed III Ubisoft have absolutely nailed a recreation of 18th century revolutionary America. It's a sprawling land of open forest, bustling colonial cities and epic naval warfare, loaded with wildlife, frontiersmen and Redcoats. Many techniques from the lengthy reload animation of the period musket, towards the recognisable compacting crunch of jumping though waist high snow may be meticulously designed: not since Red Dead Redemption's Wild West comes with an American frontier been so fully realised and engrossing.

The burgeoning wooden structures of Boston and New York play much like the brick tiled buildings of Europe, albeit after a little less verticality and wider streets. However it's from the forested areas that people understand why Ubisoft think worthy of another numbered entry in the series, rather than a subtitled sequel. The pine-valleyed frontier is usually a technical and visual marvel, and whilst there's a little too much conveniently angular geometry operating in the series' trademark free running gameplay, it's varied enough to weave a convincing illusion. The width, depth and breadth on the " new world " can be a grand ambitious statement of intent from Ubisoft - this really is their American epic.

Check that no speaker wires or some other wire come off, If they all look okay, There is a internal problem with the amp, It will have to be taken in for repair,

Make sure you have the amp grounded. I put one in last week and would not work till I grounded the amp to the car....Run a seperate wire to the car/truck.

check the signal cable, there could be interference that causes a high peak that keeps the protection light on because of constant high output

discus clearly.what's your problem ?

Power Acoustik... | Answered on May 30, 2012 | 58 views

you need to get your ribbon cable replaced. It's a cable that goes from the face to the main unit. they go out a lot. My suggestion is the next radio you buy, make sure it has no moving parts. Try to find the part at pacparts.com.

It's a straight forward swap, just make sure you line up the cathode leg (the one nearest the stripe) the right way before you solder.
If the are any resistors around the capacitor it's worth changing them too, things don't normally blow on their own.
The caps and resistors are easy enough to get hold of from maplin or RS.

Good luck

Hello
Check for any short circuit with wiring of the amp. If there is no such fault, surely your amp need service. It has some internal shorted components. This work is really a skilled one, and can only be done by any experienced service personal only. OK.

  • You double the watts to the speaker for the channels bridged. This also depends on the Ohms of the speakers being used. The lower the Ohms of the speakers used in relation to the Ohms of the amp also increases the watt output of the amp.

it sounds like you have a shorted wire or a blown speaker in system

try disconnecting all speakers and see if light goes out if so it is bad speaker if not try disconnecting all speaker wires and see if light goes out then

also if disconnecting speakers fixes problem you might want to check what the Ohm load is and how you have multiple speakers hooked up if Ohm load is too high or low you will get same light

is it possible you have too much moisture in car - sometimnes that will cause error

if this does not help please contact me with as many details as you can give me and i can try to help more - number of speakers, how they are wired to amp, what amp, how many channels for amp, etc - the more info the better i can help

good luck!

Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems! First we need to determine if you have a factory aftermarket navigation system If it is factory, there is not very many options for you the consumer to do yourself. If you have an aftermarket radio (store bought) then find where the antenna is located. Most of the newer antennas are about 1 inch by 1 inch square. If it is on your dashboard, it needs to be routed to the exterior of the vehicle. Navigation is done by "line of sight" with the satellite. If it is blocked by metal under the dash or the under the roof of the vehicle then that would be your problem. If your antenna is outside the car, then you may have a break in the line which would require replacement of the antenna. All that I have spoke of is if you have an aftermarket system. Each aftermarket system is gender specific, meaning if you have a JVC headunit, then you will have to go to a shop that carrys or can get JVC parts. Maybe this helped! Good luck with your venture!

hi at the rear of the amp where the power terminals are open it and where the power terminals conect to the circuit board you will see a black diode this is what we call a dummy or a reversed diode you will have to remove this and replace it if you dont and this happens again there will be more serious damage done and may be unrepairable let me know how you get on
